MHz NETWORKS and AUSTIN GRILL team up to create MHz Spotlight, a new television music program featuring up-and-coming recording artists from the Washington, DC area. Austin Grill is the presenting sponsor of this new series that offers a rare glimpse into the world of independent music. MHz Spotlight is a half-hour show focused around rock, but featuring an eclectic mix of country, pop, blues, and ska.ÝIn-depth interviews with the musicians reveal behind-the-scenes stories; live studio performances bring viewers that much closer to the local bands they love. MHz Spotlight will also showcase a special singer-songwriter edition. Catch MHz Spotlight Friday nights at 8pm.

Live interview and performance on 89.7 WTMD

In a continuing effort to help promote the ever-emerging Baltimore music scene, 89.7 WTMD has started a new program titled “Baltimore Unsigned”. The hour-long program airs every Monday at 8 pm. Hosted by WTMD’s Don Rogers, the show features interviews and in-studio performances by Baltimore artists. Rob will tape the show on 3/15 and the show airs the following Monday (20th) at 8 pm.

Rob to play "A Heart As Big As Texas" Benefit for Hurricane Katrina Victims

Sunday, September 18th, Rob will perform for Hurricane Katrina victims at the Austin Grill in Silver Spring, Maryland. All proceeds collected will be donated to the Red Cross.

Robs song "Time in Hell" off of the "LIfe Is Suffering" CD, charted at #36 in August. Robs first band "Gravy" also charted in July and August.
ElectricBlues Radio features primarily firey, guitar-oriented Blues and Blues-Rock. A bit of blues more focused on vocals, acoustic guitar, hamonica, sax, etc. is mixed in for a little variety. National, International, and Independent artists are all represented.

Baltimore singer-songwriter Linda Nelson, will release a collection of songs called "Wilderness." The record is currently in the mastering stage and Rob contributed electric and acoustic guitars, vocals and piano.

Rob will be having a CD release party on May 7th at the Austin Grill in Baltimore. It will coincide with their Cinco De Mayo Festival. There will be lots of bands (including Marshall Crenshaw), killer Tex-Mex, Coronas and tequila of course!

Annapolis AAA Radio

To gear up for the release party, Rob will be doing an on-air interview with Damien Einsien @ WRNR in Annapolis on Thursday, May 5th at 9:00 pm. The show is called "Damien's Diner" and spotlights local performing artists every Thursday. Rob will play a couple of songs live, and they will play a couple of tracks from the new record.

Out of more than a hundred entrants in the DC area, Rob won the final round of On Tap's South By Southwest Competition, sponsored by Austin Grill, Red Bull and the Guitar Center. Rob won a free trip and the opportunity to play at SXSW, the nation's premier music festival in Austin, TX.
